Motorway Police took calls from 179,408 people on their 130 helpline in just the first six months of 2026, and sent help to 123,256 road users, according to their own half-year report. Our customers tell a smaller version of that story at the counter. A tyre goes soft on the M-2, the car sits on the hard shoulder with hazards blinking, and the wait begins.
A portable tyre inflator in the dicky (the boot) cuts that wait down to a few minutes. Customers ask for it as a hawa wali machine, a tyre pump or an air compressor for car. Same thing.
Our picks: the Rs 5,500 Wireless Tire Inflator for cars and motorcycles, and the Rs 6,500 Maximus Double Cylinder for SUVs and pickups. The table further down covers all nine compressors on the site.

16 years of selling air compressors, and why Maximus stays on our shelf
At SehgalMotors.PK, we've been selling air compressors for 16 years. Same standard, same quality, year after year. Maximus is the brand we trust most, and four of the nine compressors in our range carry its name.
Brands come and go in this market. Maximus has stayed.
Rs 5,500 wireless inflator: what the money buys
No wire, and that's the reason to buy it.
It works away from the car: in the driveway, next to a motorcycle, at a cricket ground with a flat football. Type in 32 PSI on the digital screen and it stops at 32. Nothing to watch, nothing to guess.
There's an LED light for the hard shoulder at night. Extra nozzles come in the box for footballs and bicycle tyres. Battery: 4000mAh, rechargeable with the cable in the box. Body: ABS plastic.
One buyer on the product page left five stars and a short note: satisfied. Not a long review, but an honest one.
Why a Honda CD 70 rider can't use a car pump
A Honda CD 70 has no 12V socket. Neither does a Yamaha YBR 125 or a Suzuki GS 150. Every 12V car compressor on the market plugs into the car, and that leaves motorcycle owners with a foot pump or the puncture shop.
Hand a YBR rider the wireless inflator. It fits in a bag and needs no socket at all.
Fortuner, Revo or Prado? Get the Rs 6,500 Maximus Double Cylinder

We'd skip the cordless pump on a big 4x4. A flat Fortuner tyre is a lot of air for a 4000mAh battery.
Two cylinders. A 6 month warranty, the only one in this list we can confirm. Rs 6,500 on its own, or Rs 7,500 for the version with a tool kit. For a Revo that does Lahore to Skardu twice a year, this is the compressor we'd keep under the back seat.

Which one should you buy?
Motorcycle, any model: the Rs 5,500 wireless inflator, light enough for a backpack.
Mehran, Alto, Cultus, City, Corolla in town: the Rs 5,500 wireless one again, for the digital stop and no cable. On a tight budget, the Rs 3,500 Maximus Single Cylinder 12V still beats petrol pump air.
Fortuner, Revo, Prado, Sportage, H6, or regular M-2 and M-5 runs: the Rs 6,500 twin-cylinder Maximus, warranty included.
A car that also struggles to start on cold January mornings: the Rs 12,000 jump starter with compressor covers both problems in one box.
The 2-minute rule for every compressor
SehgalMotors.PK recommends running any of these compressors for 1 to 2 minutes, then giving it a rest before the next burst. Small motors heat up.
A Revo tyre from flat takes several bursts. Plan the pauses in. Ten straight minutes on the button is the habit we'd break first.
Soft tyre on the motorway: what to do
Pull fully onto the hard shoulder, switch the hazards on and get passengers out on the side away from traffic. Motorway Police helpline 130 is toll-free and runs day and night.
An inflator doesn't repair a puncture. For a slow leak from a nail in a tubeless tyre, though, a top-up can get the car to the next service area, where a puncture shop can plug it. A tyre that's torn, or one that empties again within minutes, needs the spare.
Lahore heat and petrol pump air
Read the pressure at 7am, before driving. By 3pm in June, the same Corolla tyre reads higher after an hour on hot tarmac, and letting air out then leaves it soft by morning. The number to aim for is on the sticker inside the driver's door, not the one moulded on the sidewall.
Petrol pump air comes through a gauge nobody can vouch for. With an inflator at home, the weekly top-up takes five minutes in the driveway.
Questions customers ask us
What is a hawa wali machine, and which one should I buy?
It's a portable tyre inflator, the same thing as a tyre pump or air compressor for car. For a car or bike, buy the Rs 5,500 wireless one; for an SUV, the Rs 6,500 Maximus.
Can I use a car tyre pump on my motorcycle?
Only the cordless one. A CD 70 or YBR has no 12V socket for a wired pump.
How long can I run a tyre inflator in one go?
One to two minutes, then a rest. Fill an SUV tyre in bursts.
Which air compressor for car comes with a warranty?
The Rs 6,500 Maximus, with 6 months of cover. We don't list a warranty on the others.
What is the price of a tyre inflator in Pakistan?
On our site, Rs 3,500 to Rs 15,000 in October 2026, with our two picks at Rs 5,500 and Rs 6,500.
Will an inflator fix a puncture?
No, it only buys you enough air to reach a puncture shop on a slow leak.
Car or bike, keep the Rs 5,500 wireless inflator in the dicky. Fortuner, Revo or Prado, spend Rs 6,500 on the Maximus Double Cylinder and take the warranty with it.
