1.Who we are

1. 1.1SehgalMotors.pk is owned and operated by SEHGALMOTORS.PK, with its registered office at 25-A Abdul Isphani Road, Faisal Town, Lahore. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that business, including all of its retail branches, PPF and detailing studios, service centres and the website sehgalmotors.pk.
2. 1.2This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By buying from us, placing an order, booking a service or using our website, you accept the way we handle personal information as described here.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, mobile number, email address, and delivery or billing address and city.
• Order details: what you buy, the add-ons you choose, how you pay, and your invoice and order history.
• Vehicle details: make, model, year, variant, colour and registration number, so we can check fitment and record work on your car.
• Identity details for service work: your CNIC number, and your signature on job cards, PPF application and removal agreements, and delivery sheets.
• Payment confirmations: bank transfer receipts or screenshots you send us as proof of payment.
• Messages and feedback: what you send us on WhatsApp, by email, by phone, on social media or through reviews, including complaints and the photos and videos attached to them.

Information we record at our branches and studios

• CCTV footage of our premises.
• Photos and videos of your vehicle before, during and after work.
• Recordings or logs of calls and WhatsApp chats with our official numbers.

Information collected automatically on our website

• Your device, browser, IP address, approximate location and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools (section 6).
• What you add to your cart, and how you reached our website, such as from Google or an advert.

Information we receive from others

• Delivery updates from courier companies.
• Payment confirmations from banks and payment providers.
• Your public profile name and messages when you contact us through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or other platforms.

4.Offers and marketing messages

1. 4.1We may send you offers, new arrivals and service reminders, such as your PPF check date, by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
2. 4.2You can stop marketing messages at any time by replying "STOP", by using the unsubscribe link in an email, or by messaging us on 0311-1222357. We will still send messages about your orders, bookings and claims, because those are part of the service.
3. 4.3We may show you our adverts on Google, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms based on your visits to our website (section 6). We never sell or rent your contact details to other businesses for their own marketing.

5.Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it's needed for the purposes in section 3, and only as much as is needed:

• Courier companies, to deliver your order: your name, phone number, address and the cash on delivery amount.
• Banks and payment providers, to process and confirm payments and refunds.
• Our technology providers, who host and run our website, online store, ERP, email and messaging systems for us. These include Shopify, which powers our online store.
• Analytics and advertising services such as Google and Meta, which receive website usage data through cookies (section 6).
• Our professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and insurers, where needed to give us advice or deal with a claim.
• The police, courts, regulators and government authorities, where the law requires it, or where we need to report or investigate fraud, theft or other crime, or to establish, use or defend our legal rights.
• A buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is sold, merged or restructured, so that your orders and records can continue to be handled.

Anyone who handles personal information for us may use it only to provide their service to us, and not for their own purposes.

6.Cookies and similar tools

1. 6.1Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Our website uses them for three reasons:
   • Essential cookies keep your cart, checkout and login working. The website can't work properly without them.
   • Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, show us which pages people use and where they leave, so we can improve the website.
   • Advertising cookies and pixels, including those from Google and Meta, measure how well our adverts work and let us show our adverts to people who have visited our website.
2. 6.2You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can limit personalised adverts in your Google and Meta account settings. If you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout won't work.
3. 6.3Google and Meta handle the data their cookies collect under their own privacy policies.

7.CCTV, vehicle photos and call records

1. 7.1Our branches and studios are monitored by CCTV for safety, security, quality control and the prevention of theft and fraud. Signs at our premises tell you this.
2. 7.2We photograph and video vehicles before, during and after work as a record of their condition and of the work done. These records are kept with your invoice, job card and signed agreements.
3. 7.3CCTV footage, vehicle records and call or chat records can be viewed only by authorised staff. They may be used as evidence in a complaint, claim or legal proceedings, and shared with the police or a court where needed.
4. 7.4We may use photos and videos of completed work on our website and social media, with number plates and personal details hidden. If you don't want photos of your car used this way, tell us on the job card or in writing at any time, and we'll stop using them for marketing.

9.How we protect your information

1. 9.1We keep personal information in secure systems with restricted access. Staff can see only the information they need for their work, and they are not allowed to use customer information for any other purpose, including contacting customers from personal numbers (see section 18A of our Terms & Conditions).
2. 9.2Signed paper documents, such as job cards and PPF agreements, are kept securely at our branches or offices, or scanned into our system.
3. 9.3No website, internet connection or computer system is completely secure. We work to protect your information, but we can't guarantee that it will never be accessed without permission, and we are not responsible for access caused by events outside our reasonable control.
4. 9.4If you have an account on our website, keep your password private and don't share it with anyone. You are responsible for activity on your account until you tell us it has been misused.

10.How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in section 3, including to meet legal and tax requirements and to defend legal claims.

11.Information stored outside Pakistan

Some of the services we use, including Shopify, Google and Meta, store data on servers outside Pakistan. When you use our website or contact us through these platforms, your information may be processed in other countries under those companies' own security and privacy standards.

12.Your choices and requests

1. 12.1You can ask us to:
   • tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy of it;
   • correct information that is wrong or out of date;
   • delete information we no longer need;
   • stop sending you marketing messages;
   • stop using photos or videos of your car for marketing.
2. 12.2Send your request by email to sales@sehgalmotors.pk or on WhatsApp 0311-1222357. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, to make sure we don't give your information to someone else. We aim to respond within 30 days.
3. 12.3We can't delete records we must keep by law, records needed for tax or accounting, or records connected with an open warranty claim, complaint, legal notice or court case. Invoices, job cards, signed agreements and their photos are kept for the periods in section 10 even if you ask us to delete them, because they protect both you and us if a question about the work arises later.

13.Children

Our products and services are for adults. You must be at least 18 to buy from us, place an order or sign a job card. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14.Other websites

Our website and messages may link to other websites, such as courier tracking pages, Google Maps, YouTube and social media. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your information, so please read their own privacy policies.

15.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business, our services or the law change. The effective date and version number at the top of this page show the current version. Changes apply from the date they are published.
