A factory sound system runs out of headroom fast once you push volume, the bass thins out first, usually below 100Hz, because stock door speakers simply aren't built to move that much air. Sealed boxes give tighter, more accurate bass and are more forgiving of installation error. Ported (vented) boxes are louder and boomier but need precise tuning. Bandpass sits between the two.

6" nano subwoofers suit hatchbacks and tight interiors. 10" boxes (our most-stocked size) give the deepest, loudest bass for sedans and SUVs. Always check the mounting depth against your trunk or under-seat clearance before ordering.
