Sit in a 2018 Civic after Maghrib with the roof light off. Black plastic, a lit speedo, nothing else. Now run 150 cm of RGB light along the dash seam and both front door cards, then pick purple on your phone: same Civic, completely different cabin. That's the whole pitch for app-controlled RGB car interior lights.
Our short answer: the K4-150CM kit with app and remote suits almost any car in Pakistan. For the 10th-gen Civic (2016-2021) and the Haval H6 (2021-2024), we stock a 24-point kit cut for those two dashboards only. EL glow wire is the quiet one. One colour, no flashing, an even neon line.
What your cabin looks like once the lights go in
The change hits the moment the doors shut. An Alto or a Cultus has a grey dashboard that vanishes at night. Tuck an RGB strip into the gap above the glovebox and that dash suddenly has an edge.
Footwells change the most. Red or ice-blue under the seats of a Corolla or a City makes the cabin look wider than it is.
Then there's the colour itself: warm white for the Lahore Ring Road at midnight, deep blue on the GT Road with the family asleep in the back, purple for a cousin's baraat.
K4-150CM: one app kit for almost any car
The Car Interior Ambient Light With APP Remote, K4-150CM is what we suggest when the car isn't a Civic or an H6.
Control: phone app over Bluetooth, plus a remote. Length: 150 cm. Fit: universal.
The remote matters more than it sounds. Your passenger can change the colour without pairing their own phone.
It doesn't replace a single factory part. It sits on the trim, which is why the same box fits a Mehran, a Yaris or a Sportage.
EL glow wire or LED strip: two kinds of glow
LED strips are dots. Bright, changing, pulsing to whatever Atif Aslam track is playing.
EL glow wire works another way entirely: a copper core coated in phosphor, fed AC power through an inverter, glowing evenly from one end to the other with no hotspots. Park the two side by side at night. One is a light show. The other is a neon outline drawn around your dashboard.
EL wire bends around AC vents and speaker grilles. It draws very little from the battery. It also shrugs off vibration, which counts for something on Ferozepur Road potholes.
Fitting EL wire so it still glows next summer
EL wire can't plug straight into the car's 12V. It needs an EL inverter, the small box that turns DC into the AC the phosphor coating needs. Match the inverter's output to the wire. A mismatched one is the quickest way to kill a new wire.
The adhesive backing only grips a clean, dry surface. Wipe the trim first, especially if the car has been sitting in June dust with the windows cracked.
Mounting clips hold it in place on door panels. Loose wire rattles, and a rattling wire breaks.
Don't fold it sharp. A tight kink at the glovebox corner can leave you with a dark patch halfway along an otherwise perfect line.
Picking a colour you can drive with
Blue and purple look best parked outside a dhaba at night. On the motorway at 120, a bright pulsing strip in the corner of your eye gets tiring fast.
Keep it dim and steady while driving. Save music mode for when the car is parked.
White is the practical choice. It lights the console and footwell enough to find a dropped phone or a toll card without switching the roof light on.
Civic and Haval H6: the factory-looking option
Universal kits sit on top of the trim. The 24-point RGB ambient kits for the Civic 2016-2021 and Haval H6 2021-2024 go into it, 24 light points across the dashboard and doors.
Done properly, a passenger won't guess it was added later.
These are made to order. Delivery: about 10 days after full advance payment. Before Eid or a Murree trip, order early.
Civic owners have one more piece: a carbon fibre door illumination kit with 64 RGB colours on the door panels.
Small extras that finish the look
- Star ceiling lights in 350, 450 or 550 points turn the headliner into a night sky.
- RGB cup holder plates for Changan and Hyundai light the console from below.
- USB star projector (C202) is plug and play, no wiring.
- 7-colour remote ambient light is remote-only, no app.

Which light suits your car
Alto, Cultus, Wagon R, an old Mehran: start with the K4-150CM. It's the biggest visible change for the least work.
Corolla, City or Yaris with a long, flat dash? K4 across the front, EL wire on the doors.
On a Civic 2016-2021 or an H6 2021-2024, get the 24-point kit and nothing else.
SehgalMotors.PK fits these at the store, and every light point is tested before the car leaves.
Questions customers ask us
Can I change the colour from my phone?
Yes. The K4-150CM connects over Bluetooth, and a remote comes in the box.
Will interior lights drain my car battery?
Not in normal use. EL glow wire barely draws any current, and LED kits run off the car's 12V supply.
Do these lights work in every car?
The K4-150CM and EL glow wire do. The 24-point kits fit only the Civic 2016-2021 and Haval H6 2021-2024.
Gari ke andar wali RGB lights kahan se milti hain?
At SehgalMotors.pk. App kits, EL glow wire and the Civic and H6 kits are all listed there, with fitting at the store.
Any car, phone control: K4-150CM. A soft neon outline: EL glow wire. Civic or H6: the 24-point kit.
