Haval H6 Persian Carpet Floor Mats, 3 Pcs (2025 - 2026)

This set is cut for the facelifted third-generation Haval H6, the HEV and PHEV models on sale here from 2025. There are three pieces in it: a driver mat, a front passenger mat and one mat that runs across the whole rear floor. Since the H6 is a five-seater, those three cover every seat in the car. The pattern is a Persian medallion in beige-grey with silver-white centres, and the edges are finished all the way round in black binding. Most buyers just want something softer and warmer underfoot than plain black mats.

Dust and grit off people's shoes sink into the carpet pile and sit there until you vacuum them out, so they stay off the H6's own floor carpet. Each mat has an anti-slip backing on the underside to hold it where you lay it. Run a thumb along the edge and you'll feel the binding stitched over the cut pile. On cheap rug-style mats that edge is left raw, and it frays within months, starting at the driver's heel.

What the three pieces cover in a five-seater

The colour is worth thinking about before you buy. These are a good deal lighter than the black mats most H6 owners are used to. The busy pattern swallows everyday dust well, and you'll barely notice a week of it. Wet mud and a spilled cup of chai are another story, because they leave a dark mark on beige that a black mat would hide. During the monsoon expect to take the driver mat out every few days and brush it off once the mud has dried. Scrubbing it while wet only spreads the mark.

What it cannot do and where it does not fit

• The boot is not covered. You will need a boot mat for that.
• The set is listed for the 2025 - 2026 facelift HEV and PHEV. The earlier third-generation H6 sold here from 2021 to 2024 may look much the same inside, but we have not listed these mats for it. Call the counter with your model year before ordering for an older car.
• It is made for the H6 only. The Jolion is a smaller car and needs its own set.
• Carpet takes up water and holds it. In a sealed car during a humid Lahore August a wet mat can stay damp for days, and a damp mat smells. If the car regularly goes onto unpaved roads or to the farm, rubber or 7D mats are the sensible choice.

How to fit it

1. Remove the mats that are in the car now. All of them.
2. Vacuum the floor carpet underneath. Any sand you leave there gets rubbed into the car's carpet by every foot that goes on the mat, and the wear only shows up the day you lift it.
3. Put the driver mat in and push it forward until it sits flat in the footwell. Press the brake pedal and then the accelerator right to the floor with your hand. Neither should touch the mat.
4. Lay the passenger mat next.
5. For the rear, move both front seats all the way forward, spread the rear mat with its join over the middle of the floor, smooth it flat and move the seats back.
6. Check the driver mat again after about a week. A mat that has crept toward the pedals usually has something under one corner, and it is nearly always a coin, a toll receipt or a pen.

The mistake we hear about most often is fitting these on top of the factory mats. Two layers feel plush, and people like that. The problem is that the anti-slip backing is now resting on a mat instead of the floor, so it has nothing to grip. Under hard braking the whole pile moves forward, and the leading edge of the driver mat can fold up behind the accelerator and stop it returning. So the factory mats come out before these go in.

Cleaning is simple. Take the mats out, shake them and vacuum both sides. Small stains come out with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Let the mat dry flat, right through, before it goes back into the car. If you take the H6 to a car wash, ask them not to use the pressure jet on the mats, because it drives water into the backing and the mat then needs a whole day or more in the shade to dry.

Mainly families who bought the H6 hybrid as the main car at home and use it for school runs, visits to relatives and the odd motorway trip. They want the floor to feel like part of the house. A lot of them come in within the first month of taking delivery.

If you prefer a dark floor that hides mud, pick black carpet or 7D mats instead. Rubber mats make more sense if the car sees dirt roads every week. And for the boot you will need a separate mat, as this set doesn't include one.
