Navimeta Android Auto & Apple Car Play Smart Box (2GB/32GB)

Product Overview

Navimeta Android Auto & Apple Car Play Smart Box (2GB/32GB) is an automotive accessory to be used as indicated in its name. It is appropriate for buyers that require the listed format, colour, size, capacity or quantity without unsupported fitment claims. Determine prior to use the space, surface or electrical connection where the recommended device is to be mounted.

What It Is and How It Works

Navimeta Android Auto & Apple Car Play Smart Box (2G/32G) features a vehicle-shaped dashboard installation and touch-display format. Whereas the screen is positioned in the same spot as the sound system should have been, the decision is not just based on the sound system name, it's more about the dashboard shape, screen size and wiring system.

Materials and Build

Navimeta Android Auto & Apple Car Play Smart Box (2GB/32GB) comes with 2G/32G preloaded. Inspect the casing or exposed finish, edges, connectors and attachment areas prior to use. The listings do not assume an unstated base material and it is the correct choice that should be made from the information regarding size, colour, quantity and fitment.

Key Benefits

•   Shows navigation, media and supported phone functions in a dashboard sized screen.
•   Applies the specified screen size and vehicle fitment to restrict the selection of dashboard.
•   Has the display mounted in the centre console area rather than a loose tablet mount.
•   Replaces tired factory audio layout with matching wiring and fascia.

When to Buy or Replace It

Navimeta Android Auto & Apple Car Play Smart Box (2GB/32GB): Select it when the current centre display or audio configuration in the car is getting replaced and the layout of the dashboard is established. Before assuming that there is something wrong with the display, examine wiring and power issues if sound is off or buttons don't work or the display resets.

Buying Considerations

Before use, ensure that relevant dimensions, connector, voltage are correct and that surface or mounting space is not unnecessarily occupied, as this does not apply to all cars. Does not warrant steering controls, factory camera, amplifier or CANBUS retention if interfaces are not available. Before taking the dashboard apart, the fitter should check the main plug and depth available before installing.

Installation or Use Guide

•   Disconnect the negative battery terminal before opening the dashboard.
•   Use non-marking tools to remove the surrounding trim; maintain order of clips.
•   Compare the new screen, fascia, main plug and available depth with the original opening.
•   Install necessary harness without breaking factory wiring when an adaptor is available.
•   Check sound, touch controls, camera input and supported steering functions prior to refitting trim.
•   Secure the unit, route cables away from sharp edges and reinstall the dashboard panels.

The expensive error is to trim the dashboard before trying all of the functions supported; if the plug is loose, it's going to have to be taken off so it can be fixed.
