Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Gold - Each

Product Overview

Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Gold - Each are automotive accessories for use as described in their title. It will work for buyers who require the listed format, colour, size, capacity or quantity but do not add unsupported fitment claims. Before using, inspect the corresponding space, surface or electrical connection.

What It Is and How It Works

Each of the sheets, known as Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Gold, are a sound-damping sheet, which is applied to some of the panels of the vehicle. The sheet is a function of its mass and the vibration that is controlled on the panel, so it is important to have it in contact with clean metal and to roll it firmly rather than loosely covering a large area.

Materials and Build

Each of the sheet gold pieces is provided in the stated colour and format with a sound damping deadening, known as 'Maximus'. Check the casing or visible finish, edges, connectors and mounting points before use. Assumptions with regard to an unstated base material are not required – the right choice should be selected from the information provided with regard to the size, colour, quantity and fitment.

Key Benefits

•   Minimises panel vibration when the sheet is securely attached to clean metal.
•   Can treat planned areas of doors, floor, roof or luggage panels.
•   Controlling resonant sheet metal to support a quieter audio installation.
•   Installs using given colour and each-sheet format.

When to Buy or Replace It

Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Gold - Each: Select when vibrating panels are available during an audio installation or interior strip down. Remove any loose, wet or contaminated sheets prior to trapping moisture or causing trim clips to become useless.

Buying Considerations

Please verify the relevant dimensions, connector, voltage, surface or mounting space prior to use as a universal description does not imply that all cars will accept the item without modifications. It can't alleviate noise from worn bearings, tyres or suspension. Make sure there are no plugs in drain holes or in wiring paths and no moving parts in the window.

Installation or Use Guide

•   Uninstall interior trim and unplug equipment in work area 44.
•   Thoroughly clean and dry the metal panel.
•   Measure and cut the sheets, but not over drains, bolts or service openings.
•   Slowly and apply pressure from the centre to the edges.
•   After checking window/latch movement, reinstall wiring and trim.

The worst one is blocking or obstructing drains or window parts, which means they will need to be unearthed later.
