Look at the end of the cable first. It's a three-pin wall plug, so this dryer runs from a socket at home or in a garage, not from your car's 12V lighter socket. That one detail decides whether it suits what you have in mind.

The HR01 is a corded ionic hair dryer with a "leafless" head. You won't see fan blades at the front. Air is pulled in through the perforated grille at the bottom of the handle and pushed out through the hollow ring on top. The listing also shows it being used to blow dust out of dashboard vents, floor mats and seat seams, so some buyers pick it up as a small blower for the car as well as for their hair.

What comes in the box

The open box in the photos holds the dryer and two clip-on nozzles in a foam tray. One is a narrow concentrator for directing air at one spot. The other is a wider, flat nozzle. Its cable is fixed to the handle.

On the handle there's a sliding switch with a small round button below it. The existing listing says the dryer has several heat and speed settings and that the round button is the cool shot, which blows cold air to set a style once you've finished drying. The photos don't show how many settings there are.

How to use it

1. Plug it into a wall socket and check the switch is off before you start.
2. Push your chosen nozzle onto the ring.
3. Choose a setting with the sliding switch and dry from the roots down.
4. Press the round button at the end for cool air.
5. Keep the intake grille at the base of the handle clear. Covering it cuts the airflow.

For car cleaning, aim it into vents and seat gaps to push dust out, then vacuum up what comes loose.
