Car Star Ceiling Light Ambient - (0.75mm 2Meter) 450 Points

Car Star Ceiling Light Kit, 450 Points, 0.75mm Fibre, 2 Metres

This car star ceiling light kit spreads 450 points of ambient light across your roof lining using fine 0.75mm fibre optic strands, each 2 metres long, for a starry night look inside the cabin.

The strands run back to a light engine, which lights them all from a single box. You can change the colours from the remote with its row of colour buttons, and the light engine box carries a QR code for the phone app. Lit up in the roof, the stars can glow in blue and white.

The fibre is listed as PMMA, a clear acrylic plastic used for light guides.

Is it right for your car?

It's for owners who want a permanent starlight roof. Fitting means making small holes in the roof lining, so it isn't a stick-on light you can move later. With 2 metre strands, the light engine has to sit close enough for the fibres to reach every point you mark.

How to install it

1. Clean the underside of the roof lining thoroughly.
2. Plan and mark where each star point will go.
3. Punch tiny holes and push the fibre through slowly.
4. Connect the fibre ends to the light engine.
5. Fix the strands down with adhesive or under the lining, then power it on.

Working through a roof lining takes patience, so it is best left to a trained fitter. Lighting accessories can be fitted at Sehgal Motors branches.
