Blaupunkt 5000 Watt 4-Channel Full Range Car Amplifier, Class 1100D

The Blaupunkt 5000 Watt amplifier is a Class 1100D, 4-channel full range car amp built to power four speakers from a single unit.

It comes in a long black aluminum casing with a finned top and the Blaupunkt logo across it. The aluminum body is made to help with heat control.

Is it right for your car?

If you... Our advice
Want to run four speakers It has four channels, one for each speaker.
Need an RMS figure The listing only gives 5000 Watt and doesn't say whether that's peak or continuous. Ask us for the RMS rating before you match speakers.
Need the wiring kit The old listing says the amp connects to the battery and audio system with a wiring kit. Confirm with us that the kit is in the box.

The side label is too small to read in the photos, so ask us if you need its details.

How to fit it

  1. Pick a flat spot with space around it, such as the boot, and fix the amp down firmly.
  2. Run the power and ground wires from the battery and the car body.
  3. Connect the signal cables from your head unit.
  4. Wire your speakers to the four channels.
  5. Start at low volume and test each speaker.

This job means wiring into the car's electrics, so have it done by a trained fitter. Amplifiers can be fitted at Sehgal Motors branches.
