Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Premium Black - Each

Product Overview

Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Premium Black - Each is an auto accessory for its stated use. It is well for purchasers requiring the specified format, colour, size, capacity or quantity, as these are all listed items, with no unsupported fitment claims added. Before use, please inspect the appropriate mounting space, surface or electrical connection.

What It Is and How It Works

Each of the Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheets is a sound-damping sheet that is applied to specific vehicle panels. The sheet adds mass and controls vibration of the panels, so that more important than covering in a loose manner a large area is to contact the clean metal surface.

Materials and Build

Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Premium Black - Each comes with Black. Inspect casing or exposed surface, edges, connectors and mounting areas prior to use. There is no assumption made about an unstated base material in the listing; the appropriate selection should be found in the confirmed size, colour, quantity and fitment information.

Key Benefits

•   Decouples vibration of the panel when the sheet is securely attached to clean metal.
•   Enable the treatment of planned sections – doors, floor and/or roof or luggage panels.
•   Regulates resonant sheet metal to support a more quiet audio installation.
•   Uses the specified colour and each-sheet format for staged installation.

When to Buy or Replace It

Maximus Sound Damping Deadening Sheet Premium Black - Each: Select it when you are installing an audio system or stripping interior panels when vibration is present. Loose, wet or contaminated sheets should be removed prior to trapping water or obstructing the trim clips.

Buying Considerations

Before using, check the relevant dimensions, connector, voltage, surface or mounting space etc. as a universal description does not imply that it can be used in any car without adjustments. Can't prevent noises from worn bearings, tyres or loose suspension. Make sure drain holes are clear, wiring is clear and moving parts are clear.

Installation or Use Guide

•   Remove interior trim and de-connect equipment in work area.
•   Thoroughly clean and dry the metal panel.
•   Measure and cut without covering drains, bolts or service openings, #39.
•   Apply it gradually and roll firmly from the centre towards the edges.
•   Only re-install wiring and trim after checking window/latch movement.

A frequent error is blocking drains, or shifting window components; in either case it will need to be done again later.
