## BAIC BJ81 Design Looks Familiar For A Reason

The BAIC BJ81 has been causing ripples on the Internet due to its rivalry with the legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The BJ81 is a clear homage to the luxury off-roader in its boxy body and in its stance that is set such that the round off-road headlights and aggressive front grille are easily inferred. There are some additional touches that BAIC has made, though, like their own badging, altered bumpers, and a bit more contemporary light signature. What comes up is a car that appears high-end and hardcore, yet at a substantially lower price point than the G-Wagon.

## BAIC Hybrid Reports Raise Bigger Questions

New rumours indicate that BAIC might roll out a different hybrid or electrified variant of the BJ81, which begs the question concerning its positioning. The vacuum present in the models that can occupy the BJ81 includes conducting eye-catching designs, high road presence, and perhaps better fuel consumption.

But, success will be determined by the pricing, the after-sales service and the local introduction of the hybrid technology. When priced sensibly, the BJ81 would be appealing to buyers seeking a G-Class-inspired switch but not at the ultra-luxury premium cost.
